boy or girl?!

if i had a penny for each time somebody asked if we thought we were having a boy or girl...we'd have a couple bucks. turns out for awhile...i didn't even know what i wanted but donnie, as an already proud father, always jumped and said BOY! well me...being me, i just would start saying GIRL jusssttt to get a rise out of him. surprising, nah.

well the other day i had news to break to him. i had confessed that i really did think it was a boy i just always said girl because its to hard to just agree on the sex of the kiddo. so if we have a boy does this mean i called it first? that is our next fight. hmmm....you can pick the side. :)

BUTTTTT in our next appointment............we find out the sex of the baby!!! i guess we have awhile to figure out who has stomping grounds on if it is a boy. i suppose he can have the pride of calling it early since i was being difficult by saying girl. ah, hate when he is right.

we go again on may 4th at 3 pm in mitchell, sd. yeah, its awhile away. our lady doctor only comes every third thursday of each month which would have made it 17 weeks and well you can find out the sex between 18-20 weeks so i thought heck with the appointment in between. lucky for the grandmas to be--they get to be extra ears and eyes as we find out the sex in our next appointment!! i think both are excited and as are we to share this experience with them. my mother claims they didn't have those back in the day so i can about imagine the questions she'll be asking the doctor. oh, reta..pray for us.
