Whew! Last week flew by so here I am trying to update you in week 13. We have been doing good...been getting a little sick in the mornings but I'm thinking its due to not getting enough water. Bloating is a full time feeling and I just wish my stomach would pop out but it'll probably be awhile before that happens. My tops are getting a little tight but I still feel fine in my jeans. No weight gain so I should just be happy for that. Donnie is great with everything and his new thing is rubbing the belly more and more. S & O are still being spoiled and are soaking up all the attention they can get.
Here is what is going on this week...
Fingerprints have formed on your baby's tiny fingertips, her veins and organs are clearly visible through her still-thin skin, and her body is starting to catch up with her head -- which makes up just a third of her body size now. If you're having a girl, she now has more than 2 million eggs in her ovaries. Your baby is almost 3 inches long (the size of a medium shrimp) and weighs nearly an ounce. As you start your second trimester, most of your baby's critical development will be completed and your odds of miscarriage drop considerably.
Have a good week!
