well folks... today we had our ultrasound to see if it was a boy or girl and it turns out its a boy indeed! our pictures just got printed for us so i don't know if i'll be able to get them posted or not.
we took our mommas (reta & chyree) to see the ultrasound since either of them havent ever been to one. it was great they were there because i got majorly sick during it and had a huge huge hot flash and felt like poop the whole hour long ultrasound!! talk about embrassing- the poor dude i had to ask him to stop, donnie to get me water and than chyree & reta got me paper towels and towels that were cold to try to cool me down. ehhh embrassing!!! needless to say, i didnt watch much of the ultrasound but they asked a lot of good questions and i'm glad they enjoyed seeing everything.
what i got out of the ultrasound is that HIS elbow to fist is 2 inches long, heart beat is 129, we are right on schedule with the due date, he sucks his thumb, he covers his face anytime we would try to see his face, he throws his arms around like he is constantly dancing and the most cute thing is that he waved at us!! on the downfall my cervix is thinner than normal so she is worried about preterm labor so i go back in another month for another ultrasound to keep monitoring it closely.
tomorrow i'm 19 weeks along so i'll update you what is going on with the baby tomorrow. i've lost my 'burst of energy' that i once blogged about and im back to going to bed around 9:30ish again.
