well today we turned 10 weeks pregnant....
today it seems like it will take forever to get this little one in our hands but i'm sure it will all go by faster than we think. this week puts us in the 'fetal period' {a time when the tissue and organ in the body rapidly grow and mature} and its the size of a kumquat. a kumquat?? yea, i googled it. it is also getting its tiny nails forming on its fingers and toes and there is no longer any webbing in the fingers. peach fuzz will also be forming on the tender skin.
| a kumquat we are doing great! donnie got a book from his mom called the expectant father and i got a journal from chyree and also my mom so i have started writing in those. some of the pages i skip because they make me giggle and i should probably be a little appropriate in the journals, don't you say? |
I wish I would've started something like this 5 years ago!! Way to go!! ...and you're right, the time will fly by and before you know it, you'll be freaking out because that little miracle will be arriving soon!! Just enjoy each and every day. Love you!!
