howdy ya'll.
thought i'd first show you how cute my little oscar can be. i found her yesterday all curdled up into a pillow case, yes a pillow case!

and above you see what sunni dog has been up to....sleeping and laying around. :)
it is crazy how much love a dog can give.

over the weekend i have had tried a new receipe and made my favorite kind of soup....CHEESEBURGER SOUP!! yum! you can find the receipes as follows::

Scalloped Potatoes & Ham
Peel and slice thin 8 or 9 potatoes. Put in saucepan and add: 1 pint of half and half and 1 pint of whipping cream.
Heat thoroughly but do not boil. Add salt and pepper and a heping 1/4 tsp sugar.
Transfer to a baking dish and bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Cheeseburger Soup
1/2 lb hamburger browned
3/4 c onion
3/4 c shredded carrots
3/4 c chopped celery
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried parsley falkes
4 T butter
1/4 c sour cream
3 c chicken broth
4 c diced pottatoes
1/4 c flour
2 c cheese
1 1/2 c milk
salt and pepper

saute onion, carrots, celery, basil and parsley in 1 T butter about 10 minutes. Add broth, potatoes and beef; simmer 10 minutes (check potatoes for doneness) Melt rest of buttere and addflour; cook 3-5 min. Add to soup. Cook 2 min reduce heat. Add cheese and milk; stir until cheese is melted. Remove from heat and add sour cream.
